Community
We are St. Luke's United Church,
people of many ages, colors, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender
identities, family structures, vocations, avocations and faith journeys
sharing our joys and concerns, praying for each other, caring for each
other, studying, working, playing, and worshiping together.
In addition to our time together on
Sunday for worship, coffee hour, and education, we come together as a
community for social events and work together in mission projects, such as
feeding the homeless.
Living the Questions Study
Living the Questions is a DVD
curriculum for both seekers and "church alumni/ae" convinced that
Christianity still has relevance in the 21st Century. Providing a variety
of flexible resources, Living the Questions can help people explore
the future of Christianity and what a meaningful faith can look like in
today's world. The LTQ study group meets twice a month.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Every Sunday a group meets, under
the leadership of the pastor, to study the Bible and delve into the
scriptures.
Prayer and Reflection
Once a month we offer a time for
seekers to take time out from their busy lives to center themselves for
prayer and reflection. The "mindfulness" group is led by our pastor
of healing and wholeness.
