Welcome to St. Luke's United Church
of Christ
We are a community of faith, located in the Far Northeast of Philadelphia.
St. Luke's United Church of Christ welcomes all seekers--those seeking an
open and affirming church, those seeking a progressive church--and those
seeking a church home. At St. Luke's we believe in freedom and diversity in
worship and life style. We welcome people from all denominations regardless
of previous affiliation. We believe in the ministry of all believers. You
will see men, women and youth serving in all phases of church life. At St.
Luke's we emphasize a ministry style that reflects a concern for people, an
outreach to the homeless, an interest in developing its social consciousness
and a strong desire to witness to Christ's presence in the community and in
the lives of people. We foster spiritual growth, loving relationships,
open-mindedness and works of mission and outreach in service to God and
humanity. Though no church can be all things to all people, there's a lot of
excitement in our midst. Check out the rest of our website and discover more
about St. Luke's and the United Church of Christ.
